Friday

to old haircuts, new features, and the weekend

is it just me or did it take extra long for friday to come this week?  it may be slightly due to the fact that i am just so pumped for NOVA Fashion Week's Behind the Scenees, and it's finally here (if you haven't gotten your tickets, there is still time)!  since i've spent all week on shopping ventures prepping for tonight's outfit, which was finished off at South Moon Under's Cinco de Mayo party last night, there is sadly no outfit post today.

so i thought i would leave you with a little glimpse into my past life, the life before you knew me (before the blog), with some pictures that may make you think that really think you don't know me at all.  deep breath everyone.  i used to have a short, dark brown, bob.  there, my secrets out and i feel much better!  but lets be real.  i loveeeee my long, blonde locks like i love my own, but i've never been afraid to try new things with my hair, and i did enjoy my bob!   i also enjoyed this time in my life because i got to do fun things like spend a day modeling for one of my favorite DC based clothing companies, Clockwise Clothing.  Definitly check them out if you haven't yet, they make some pretty sweet t-shirts, like my personal favorite above, the older classic, "Shoes, Bags, & Boys."

to finish off friday's post, Erika was featured on Refinery29's "10 Awesome Style Snaps From Last Weekend's Sweetlife Festival" this morning.  check out the article for more of her feature, and other awesome festival fashion.  gosh, she makes combat books look so fabulous.

Don't forget to follow me on twitter and instagram tonight as i go Behind the Scenes of NOVA Fashion Week

wishing everyone a GREAT weekend! xo N&E
