The BCBG Max Azria runway show is one that we have come to look forward to every season and probably will forever. It was our first ever fashion week show, but the love and appreciation we have grown to have for this amazing brand is really what excites us over and over again.
The fall prêt-à-porter (ready-to-wear) collection brought grunge to the historical towns of Istanbul with ease. The dark color pallet filled with blues, burgundy and black (which we saw a lot of, oxblood is clearly here to stay) was offset by clean whites and neutral tones. There was texture and looseness (it's all about the relaxed silhouette, no hip hugging next season) and layering (so many layers that you can't really tell what's happening but is so beautiful once you figure it out) with leather and fur and huge coats, topped off with a cashmere beanie and thigh-high pumps (yes, pumps).
And now, we need so many beanies. Lubov and Max's creativity is so inspiring and this was perfection. Congratulations another amazing collection!
