Learning The Ropes

If you’ve asked me for shopping advice recently, you probably think I’m being so picky, but that’s because I am. I only want things that are well made (these jeans), by good designers (these boots), that are flattering (my top) and timeless (this bag). [Note: This doesn’t mean it has to come with the designer price tag – most of these items are from TJMaxx where I always find designer pieces at a fraction of the original prices]. I’ll always love things like a black bootie, but it occurred to me, when I noticed a good 1/4 of my closet floor was made up of black booties, that I needed to focus more on quality over quantity. And, I have to tell you, it actually feels better spending more on something great than spending less on something mediocre. Do you agree?
