When it comes to shoes vs. handbags, I'm normally a shoe girl. This meaning that I'm more likely to pay more and invest in a pair of shoes that I love, more than I do with a handbag. I'm just not as picky when it comes to handbags and, orderly, it's usually the last component of my outfit. Lately though, I've been feeling the need for a nice handbag that defines my look. I started realizing it when packing for New York Fashion Week this year because, while I had a lot of great bags that I brought with me, there wasn't that one, special bag that was me.
Vera Bradley is a brand that has been back on my radar since they recently introduced their newest leather and faux leather collections. First catching my eye with this leopard print wallet and again now with this new, tote bag (I also am currently obsessed with their quilted backpacks FYI). The black with white trim keeps it classic, while a fun, print lines the inside, still adhering to the Vera Bradley signature style. It's such a big bag but I'm enjoying keeping it clean and organized carrying only the bare essentials.
My 'bare essentials' and what's in my bag consists of the following eight things:
1. Wallet - Vera Bradley c/o
2. Sunglasses - LOFT
3. A planner or notebook - GiGi New York c/o
4. Two shades of lipstick: Pink and Burgundy - Topshop c/o
5. A heavily pigmented bronzer or blush - Vincent Longo c/o
6. Lip balm - Sara Happ c/o
8. Instant texture hair product - Living Proof c/o
