This is a little of a throwback post, but one I’m really excited to have up on the blog finally nonetheless. Back in September, while in New York, I stopped by the NYLON Magazine office to visit a friend. The visit quickly turned into playing dress-up in the NYLON Shop’s closets and a full photo shoot (because what else do you expect from me?). I’ve always loved NYLON Magazine because they’re just different than anything else out there. Fully embracing the unfamiliar in fashion with featured brands like Buy Me Brunch and Kid Dangerous they’ve curated a really COOL shop too.
Quickly I was reminded of how much I truly enjoy having fun with fashion. I’m not exactly sure why but, It gets me really excited inside to wear a skirt covered in unicorns and “other creatures”. Walking outside in it kind of makes me feel like I know something that everyone else doesn’t (mainly that this skirt is REALLY COOL). And while writing this post I’m reminded of how Erika was REALLY excited to wear socks covered in hotdogs earlier this year, so maybe it’s a “Pinto thing.“
