While during the summertime, I’m all about sexy, feminine silhouettes, something about fall drives me more towards structured lines and boxy shapes. Think menswear inspired pieces like over-sized blazers, pant suits, boxy sweaters, tailored trousers and loafers on your feet. If you stock your wardrobe with these kinds of pieces, I guarantee you’ll always have something to wear this fall and you’ll look chic while doing it.
So far this season I’ve been switching between menswear inspired looks, like pant suits, or flowy dresses and boots. Their both easy looks to put together and you know I’m all about ease. If thinking of taking on the menswear trend, start out with a great pair of tailored trousers, like these. To even things out, then pair them with a billow or ruffly top and more feminine accessories like a furry bag.
Speaking of, while I’m loving masculine apparel, I still keep my accessories fun and feminine! I loved these loafers in black, but I knew the metallic silver would soften things up. They go with everything too, which is why I’m really struggling not purchasing every pair of gold or silver shoes that I like.
