What I Wore This Week: Vol. 1

Outfits

It was the first week of November, but still fairly warm for this time of year here in DC.  Layering was definitely in order and graphic tee’s seemed to be the base of most of my looks.  I attended two events, which meant two opportunities for getting a little dressed up.  To one event I wore trouser and to the other a dress and these booties (Which you guys seemed to really love!).  I mostly live in jeans though and this week I got to break in two new pairs.

WHAT I WORE THIS WEEK:

Graphic Tees: The ‘Amour’ graphic tee shirt is sold out currently, but I linked to it anyway and I’ll keep an eye out in case it comes back in stock.  This one isn’t though!  I want to find out where Topshop gets the tee that they’re printing on because it’s perfect.  Not too thick, not too thin, great fit, super soft and I love the rolled up sleeve – The perfect white tee if you ask me.  I got a size 4 in both for a more fitted look, but you could easily size up in these.

Event Looks:  I love the shoulders on this sweater that I wore to the Capital One SAVOR Card #PricelessMoments dinner.  Such a cozy but elevated piece to have in your closet this fall and winter.  The floral dress I wore to the Sally Beauty Pop-Up Lounge (Seen here) is on sale in a few different places: On SaksAlice + Olivia, and Neiman Marcus.  I’m wearing a size XS.

New Denim: On date night I wore a pair of jeans that remind me of vintage Levi’s, the cutest white button down shirt and velvet, slingback pumps.  The jeans are on sale now and under $50.  The other pair of denim I wore this week are a really cool and different two-tone denim for under $100.  I’m wearing a size 27 in both.

Weekend Vibes: And, for the sake of this being my first post in this series, I’ll include what I wore last weekend too because it’s just too cute – The perfect floral midi dress (Size small)!  It’s so cute dressed down with boots but will also be chic with a blazer layered over top and pumps.

Coats and Jackets: With the weather being so fickle, I brought this puffer coat around with me to throw on over top of a dress.  It’s actually pretty light-weight and perfect for the weather right now.  Speaking of light-weight coats, I posted this furry one and two of my blogger friends have already purchased it (who both live in California!).  I got a lot of questions about my plaid coat – It’s old H&M, but I found an almost identical one here.

I love the shoes!! Such a good colour. I have this coat too, or at least, I think it’s the same. A good H&M find a while ago.
Love this look!
