Dear, Sézane

When you find a brand you love this much, it’s only appropriate to write them a love letter, right?

A brand that influenced me to embrace the half-French girl side of me, I first discovered Sézane on Instagram.  I was completely drawn to the aesthetic of their perfectly curated Instagram feed, and, quick to follow, the cheerfully designed website and branding.  I was forced to only admire their amazing clothing, handbags, shoes and other accessories from afar, because their flagship store was located in Paris, France.  I oh-so wished I could experience the in-store shopping experience first hand.  I’m more of a hands-on kind of girl and I knew if there was anything store to shop in person it was Sézane’s.

This summer I got the best email from the Paris team and they mailed me a few of their staple items. They sent me The La Femme tee, The Gaby leather tote bag and The Jack sneakers, only solidifying my love for this adorable and charming French brand.  Fast forward to this fall, they opened their first store in the U.S., located in New York City.  I was visiting for New York Fashion Week and, when I had some time to kill between events, I had my Uber driver drop me off at 254 Elizabeth Street.

I think I spent at least an hour in the store, chatting with the shop girls, smelling the perfume, running my fingers along the softest knitwear, and slipping into a pair of buttery, leopard print heels.  The built in French-style bistro was just what any girl who was smack dab in the middle of  Fashion Week needed.  It came fully equipped with hot coffee, pastries, and phone chargers.  Be sure to pop by the store if you can and tell them I said, “Bonjour!”

Since then I’ve picked up a few more pieces, many you probably recognize from seeing around here, like this leopard bag which I adore and has become my fall staple!  I have my eyes on this striped coat and this crocodile embossed bag next.  Check out a few more of my favorites below, I hope you love them as much as I do!

Yes, same!! They are amazing. I have to make sure to go in and try things on next time I am in Paris and see if I can have someone send it out to me from a US postal address. It’s tricky from here, but they have such good pieces! Beautiful photos in here as well, I love the collage!
