The Resort You All Need To Stay At

Lifestyle Travel

WHERE – Scottsdale, Arizona {Greater Phoenix Area}

Luxury meets desert vibes at the The Scott Resort & Spa.  The resort is conveniently located in downtown Scottsdale, but you would never know it from the lush landscaping and tropical elements that makes The Scott the perfect desert oasis.

Your escape begins as soon as you step through the doors and into The Scott Resort.  The indoor/outdoor lobby is a breath of fresh air!  There are more rattan chairs than you ever knew you wanted to sit on and tons of greenery, inspired by the old porches you’d see in Havana, Cuba in the ’30’s.  The entire resort was newly redecorated and the rooms were renovated.  You’ll never want to leave but, if you choose so, there’s plenty to do right around you in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona.

La Boca Pool

At the La Boca Pool you can rent these gorgeous private cabanas daily.  We ordered cocktails and lunch from The Canal Club Poolside.  The service is so great, you’ll never have to leave your cabana! Unless to cool off from the warm desert heat, of course.  La Boca Pool is right next to the The Scott’s second pool, La Playa Pool, where you can sit right on the “beach!”

La Vidorra Spa

After a long day of relaxing by the pool, you’ll want to head to the La Vidorra Spa for a massage.  All of their products are environmentally friendly as well as made with natural plant-based ingredients.  Add on a mineral bath soak in the bathtub featured in each treatment room for only $35.  Perfect for couples!

The Canal Club

Inspired by old Havana, enjoy Cuban-inspired fare at The Scott’s restaurant, The Canal Club.  Personal favorites on the menu include the Ceviche, Crispy Skin Salmon and Gaucho Steak.  The decor is just as authentic as the food and open-air seating is sure to offer a memorable dining experience.  Whether you stay overnight at The Scott or not, I always recommend dining here!

I encourage you to explore the resort on foot, it’s stunning and there’s photo op’s seemingly in every corner. One of our favorite things to do at night was to sit by the fire pits located at the back of the lobby or the fireplace inside the lobby and play backgammon. There are chess boards too if that’s more your game.
