Mental health was a topic you requested I touch on more. I don’t know about you, but I find myself appreciating the little things more than ever these days. And it’s those little things you do for yourself that sometimes that have the biggest impact. So, scroll down and check out some of the tiny joys that have kept my spirits high during these uncertain times.
I also linked some “quarantine essentials” for you at the bottom of this post including cookbooks, self-care items and some games to play to help you keep distracted. And remember, this is temporary. Sending you all my love!
+ A Page a Day
Reading one page of The Daily Stoic helps me to set an intention first thing in the morning, which then sets the tone for the rest of the day. It doesn’t take up a lot of time either.
+ A Luxe Shower
I lathered myself in my favorite body wash this morning, Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir. It instantly lifted my mood! Not to mention your skin will smell amazing all day.
+ Facial Steam
I love sitting down with this facial humidifier, it forces me to disconnect, relax and replenish my skin for a few minutes not to mention it feels amazing.
+ A Drop of Calm
If you’ve been considering trying CBD, I truly think there’s no better time than now to do it. You deserve it! A half a dropper of Equilibria CBD totally takes the edge off for me when my mind is racing or I’m feeling anxious. Use code ‘THEFASHIONABLYBROKE’ for 15% off your first order.
+ Morning Movement
I always like to wake up my body and my mind with stretching and a few yoga movements. Simply bending over to touch your toes allows more oxygen to flow to the brain leaving you feeling more energized.
+ A Good Blowout
I was getting blowouts before the quarantine and they always make me feel so good so today I treated myself to one at home. I love this brush that my stylist has, it’s extra long so it can dry larger sections at a time. If you’re not good at using a round brush and blow dryer, try this brush-dryer combo!
What are some little things you’re grateful for today? I’d love to hear from you!
