Wes and I just got back from Charleston – Our first road trip since we moved! I wanted to share what we did along with some of the recommendations I got to help you plan your next visit. Our favorite meal was probably Poogan’s Porch, but there so many other great options to choose from Downtown (listed below). Husk is on my list for next time, along with 167Raw (they had a really long wait sadly).

Sullivan’s Island was probably our favorite part of the trip. Of course, we loved this little beach town. We ended up eating at Mex 1 (there was a long wait at Poe’s and we’d eaten there before). I just love driving around though and we visited Fort Moultrie at sunset before dinner and I’d highly recommend it! It’s gorgeous and right along the beach. And, lastly, I loved walking around The Battery – It’s right on the water and the historical houses are stunning. Let me know if you have any other travel questions!

Where to eat:
